List of chemicals allowed for use in livestock waste treatment products in Vietnam as of February 1, 2024

Accordingly, the list of chemicals allowed for use in livestock waste treatment products in Vietnam, issued together with Circular 19/2023/TT-BNNPTNT, includes:

- Quicklime;

- Slaked lime;

- Calcium carbonate;

- Zinc sulfate;

- Silver nanoparticles;

- Hypochlorous acid;

- Activated carbon;

- Zeolite;

- Poly aluminium chloride.

List of biological products, microorganisms permitted for use in livestock waste treatment products in Vietnam

Specifically, the list of biological products, microorganisms, enzymes, and amino acids permitted for use in livestock waste treatment products in Vietnam, issued together with Circular 19/2023/TT-BNNPTNT, includes:

- Products extracted from organisms: Products extracted from Yucca schidigera;

- Microorganisms:

+ Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus paramycoides, Bacillus tropicus, Bacillus velezenis, and Bacillus coagulans;

+ Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Lactobacillus paracasei;

+ Pediococcus pentosaceus, Pediococcus acidilactici;

+ Rhodopseudomonas palustris, Rhodobacter sphaeroides;

+ Saccharomyces cerevisiae;

+ Streptomyces rochei;

+ Trichoderma asperellum.

- Enzymes:

 + Amylase;

+ Beta glucanase;

+ Protease;

+ Xylanase.

- Amino acids:

+ Alanine; 

+ Arginine;

+ Aspartic acid;

+ Cystine;

+ Histidine;

+ Lysine;

+ Leucine, Isoleucine;

+ Methionine;

+ Phenylalanine;

+ Proline;

+ Serine;

+ Threonine;

+ Tyrosine;

+ Valine.

Note: The chemicals, biological products, microorganisms, enzymes, and amino acids in livestock waste treatment products are based on recognized test results or scientific and technological tasks recognized by the Ministry or national level.

The Head of the Ministry Office, Director of the Livestock Department, Heads of units under the Ministry, Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing Circular 19/2023/TT-BNNPTNT.
