A handbook on compliance with information system safety by level will be issued as stated in Directive 09/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024, complying with legal regulations and enhancing the assurance of information system safety by level, issued by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.
In order to enhance the compliance with legal regulations and to strengthen the assurance of information system security based on classified levels, the Prime Minister of Vietnam requests the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam to:
- Develop and issue the handbook for compliance for legal regulations and strengthen the assurance of information system security based on classified levels; provide guidance on the information security model for ministries, central authorities, and local authorities to refer to, facilitating the implementation process. Completion deadline is June 2024.
- Develop, popularize, train, and maintain the operation of platforms supporting information security such as: the Platform for managing information system security based on classified levels; the National Network Information Security Incident Coordination Platform; the Digital Investigation Support Platform... to assist agencies, organizations, and businesses in implementing effective, synchronized, and convenient information security activities from the central to local levels. Conduct assessment and ranking of information system security based on classified levels for ministries, central authorities, and local authorities through the Platform for managing information system security based on classified levels.
- Organize propaganda, training, guidance, urging, inspection, evaluation, and other activities to promote the comprehensive and synchronized implementation of network information security, focusing on ensuring information system security based on classified levels and the 4-layer information security model.
- Strengthen inspection and examination of the compliance with legal regulations on information security at state agencies, organizations; businesses deploying digital platforms for digital transformation, developing the e-Government of Vietnam, the digital Government of Vietnam, the digital economy, and the digital society; businesses providing digital infrastructure platform services, telecommunications services, Internet, and other related businesses in Vietnam. Strictly handle agencies, organizations, and businesses violating legal regulations on network information security.
- Preside over the organization, guidance, monitoring, urging, inspection, and evaluation of the implementation of Directive 09/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024.
