Guidelines on Disciplinary Actions for Retired Communist Party Members in Violation

According to Guidance 04-HD/UBKTTW implementing Regulation 102-QD/TW on the disciplinary actions for Party members who have committed violations, Party members who are found to have committed violations after transferring their work, retiring, or resigning, will still be reviewed and disciplined as follows:

- After Communist Party members transfer their work, retire, or leave, and are found to have committed violations at their former party organization that have not yet been addressed, the direct superior party organization shall review and handle the issue.- When a violation by a party member is under consideration and the party organization in which the violation occurred is dissolved, merged, split, or terminates its operation, the party organization shall continue to review and handle the case or report it to the direct superior party organization for consideration and handling.

When reviewing and handling the disciplinary actions for party members who have committed violations, note:

- Party members disciplined with a warning or demotion shall be warned or demoted from one, some, or all of their positions in the Communist Party;- Party members disciplined with a reprimand or warning who no longer have sufficient credibility shall be decided for dismissal or proposed to be dismissed from their positions.

Guidance 04-HD/UBKTTW is effective from March 22, 2018.
