Guidelines for support in seeking job for poor employees in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 11/2022/TT-BLDTBXHa> on guidelines for support in seeking sustainable jobs under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the 2021-2025 period.

According to the Circular in Vietnam, the guidance on methods of supporting long-term job search for poor employees, near-poverty households, and households newly escaping from poverty is as follows:

- Support in building a database of job seekers;

Labor management associated with the national population database and other databases shall follow the regulations of Chapter II and Chapter III of Circular 11/2022/TT-BLDTBXH and the guidance of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam on managing and using non-business funds to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the 2021-2025 period.

- Support job transactions;

Collect, analyze, and forecast the labor market in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Finance on management and use of non-business funds for the implementation of the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction in the 2021-2025 period.

- Support for successful job connection:

Implement through the mechanism of bidding, ordering and assigning tasks to employment service centers and employment service enterprises according to the provisions of Decree 32/2019/ND-CP on the assignment of tasks, ordering or bidding for the supply of public products and services using the state budget for recurrent expenditures in Vietnam
