The Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy issues Circular 03/2024/TT-VKSTC dated October 23, 2024, stipulating the management and use of uniforms, Prosecutor Identity Cards, Certificates for Heads, Deputy Heads of Investigation Agencies, Investigators, Investigation Officers, and Inspectors within the People's Procuracy sector.
The use of formal attire in the People's Procuracy sector in Vietnam is guided as follows:
- Officials and public employees use the formal attire of the People's Procuracy sector uniformly and consistently, including suits, shirts, ties, belts, shoes, and socks when attending:
+ Commemorative ceremonies organized by the Communist Party, the State, the Supreme People's Procuracy;
+ National Party Congresses, National Assembly sessions;
+ Ceremonies for receiving orders, medals, and State honorary titles;
+ State-level funerals;
+ Ceremonies for the announcement and presentation of appointment decisions for positions, judiciary titles (for those appointed).
- The use of formal attire in each specific case prescribed in Clause 1, Article 12 of Circular 03/2024/TT-VKSTC and other specific cases shall be decided by the Head of the conference organizing committee or the Head of the agency.
- When using formal attire, one may wear orders, medals, commemorative badges, party badges of the Communist Party, the State, the sector, and foreign orders, medals, commemorative badges permitted by the Supreme People's Procuracy.
Orders, medals, commemorative badges, party badges shall be worn on the left chest according to the order of high to low rank, from top to bottom, from left to right.

Procuracy Identification cards, Investigator Certificates, and Inspector Certificates issued before the effective date of Circular 03/2024/TT-VKSTC shall continue to be used until the expiration date stated on the Procuracy Identification card, Investigator Certificate, and Inspector Certificate.
