From January 01, 2019: Enterprises undertake self-inspection of labor law compliance

According to the provisions of Circular 17/2018/TT-BLDTBXH on self-inspection of the implementation of labor laws by enterprises, which was issued on October 17, 2018, enterprises must conduct self-inspections of the implementation of labor laws at least once a year.

The reporting of results from self-inspection of labor law compliance is carried out online on the electronic information portal. Some contents of the self-inspection of labor law compliance are as follows:

- Recruitment and training of labor;- Dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements;- Execution and performance of labor contracts;- Working hours and rest periods;- Payment of wages to employees;- Labor safety and hygiene work;- Implementation of regulations for female workers, elderly workers, and juvenile laborers...;- Development and registration of labor regulations; handling labor discipline;- Participation in compulsory social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance;- ...

Circular 17/2018/TT-BLDTBXH takes effect from January 01, 2019.
