On December 31, 2024, the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 14/2024/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the criteria and standards for assessing the quality of vocational education.
The criteria and standards for quality accreditation of intermediate and college schools in training activities in Vietnam include:
- The enrollment regulations and plans, enrollment policies are constructed and implemented in accordance with the training programs for the disciplines and trades of the school.
- The school enrolls students according to plans ensuring fairness, objectivity, and oriented towards improving the quality of intake. The enrollment process is checked, supervised, and improved to ensure suitability and effectiveness.
- The school formulates and issues regulations on training, testing, examination, and conferring graduation recognition. The forms, methods, and training methods are diverse and in line with the objectives and content of each training program.
- The school develops and implements training plans for each class, course, semester, and academic year. The training plans are detailed to the module, subject, theory class hours, practice, and internship suitable to the training form, enabling students to meet the output standards.
- Training activities are conducted according to the objectives and content of the approved training program; there is cooperation with employers or organizations and individuals in organizing and guiding students in practice and internships.
- The school applies information technology in management and organization of training, including distance learning (if available).
- Annually, the school has plans and organizes the implementation of monitoring and supervising teaching and learning activities as scheduled. It promptly implements adjustment measures for teaching and learning activities based on the inspection and supervision reports to contribute to improving training quality.
- The forms, methods, and tools for evaluating the learning and training results of students are designed appropriately; they are reviewed, evaluated, and improved to ensure accuracy, fairness, objectivity, and orient students towards achieving the output standards.
