From February 28, 2020, the Time Limit for Resolving Complaints by the Trade Union Is Shortened

This is the noteworthy content mentioned in Decision 333/QD-TLD stipulating the issuance of Regulations on the Trade Union's resolution and participation in resolving complaints and denunciations.

To be specific, according to this Decision, the time limit for resolving accusations by the trade union organization is stipulated as follows:

- No more than 30 days from the date of acceptance of the accusation (30 days shorter than the provision in Decision 254/QD-TLD);- For complicated cases, an extension of one time but no more than 30 days (previously 90 days);- For exceptionally complicated cases, the resolution of the accusation can be extended twice, each time no more than 30 days.

The person handling the accusation shall decide in writing on the extension of the resolution of the accusation and notify the complainant, the accused, and relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals.

The process for resolving accusations includes four steps: Acceptance of the accusation; Verification of the contents of the accusation; Conclusion of the contents of the accusation; Handling the conclusion of the contents of the accusation by the person resolving the accusation.
