Circular 31/2017/TT-BNNPTNT stipulating working hours and rest periods for employees engaged in work of a special nature in the field of disaster prevention and control.
Employees implementing the 24/7 standby policy for disaster prevention have specific regulations regarding compensatory time off while still receiving full salary as follows:
- Standby on weekdays: Entitled to one day off on the working day after the standby shift;- Standby on weekly rest days, holidays, and Tet: Entitled to two days off on the working days after the standby shift.
Additionally, employees in this field are also entitled to policies of shorter working hours and more rest time compared to regular employees, specifically:
- Working hours remain 8 hours/day, but a maximum of 40 hours/week;- The minimum break time between working hours is 45 minutes.
Note, the aforementioned content only applies to salaried employees from the State budget mobilized for disaster prevention work.
Circular 31/2017/TT-BNNPTNT is effective from February 20, 2018.
