Recently, the Supreme People's Court promulgated Circular 01/2020/TT-TANDTC stipulating the resolution of complaints and denunciations within the People's Courts.
The authority to handle complaints within the People's Court (PC) falls under the Chief Judge of the district-level, provincial-level, high-level, and supreme People's Courts. Each level of the court has different jurisdiction, for example:
- The Chief Judge of the district-level People's Court handles the first-time complaints regarding the decisions and actions of themselves, officials, and employees under the management of the Chief Judge of the district-level People's Court;- The Chief Judge of the provincial-level People's Court handles complaints:- First-time complaints regarding the decisions and actions of themselves, officials, and employees under the management of the Chief Judge of the provincial-level People's Court;- Second-time complaints regarding the decisions and actions of the Chief Judge of the district-level People's Court, officials, and employees under the management of the Chief Judge of the district-level People's Court that were resolved the first time but are still being complained about or the first-time complaints that have expired but have not been resolved.- The Chief Judge of the high-level People's Court handles first-time complaints regarding the decisions and actions of themselves, officials, and employees under the management of the Chief Judge of the high-level People's Court;- ...
