On December 29, 2023, the Ministry of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam promulgated Circular No. 19/2023/TT-BLDTBXH on additions to the list of arduous, hazardous, and dangerous occupations and works and extremely arduous, hazardous, and dangerous occupations and works.
Specifically, additions to the list of arduous, hazardous, and dangerous occupations include:
* Construction (installation):
- Installing and uninstalling formworks, formwork systems, or scaffolding in works;
- Installing devices, components, steel structures, precast concrete, wall panels, floor panels, and roof panels in works;
- Processing and installing steel rebars in works;
- Pouring concrete in works;
- Operating tower cranes, hoists, or suspended platforms;
- Digging and scooping soil, rocks, and sand in tunnels and underground works;
- Constructing bricks and stone slabs in works with a height of more than 6m; painting, applying, and waterproofing surfaces of works with a height of more than 6m; installing glasses in works with a height of more than 2m;
- Installing and repairing electrical devices and electrical-mechanical systems in works;
- Using machines or hand tools to drill, cut, destroy, and erase concrete structures and concrete surfaces;
- Loading and transporting materials, devices, and components at construction sites;
- Digging and scooping soil, rocks, and sand in open works;
- Building and completing standing roofs and inclined roofs in works;
- Drilling anchor holes, installing steel anchor bars, installing steel mesh, reinforcing roofs | slopes of works or road slopes;
- Operating drillers, pile pressing machines, and piling machines in the construction of works;
- Operating and repairing systems of lines for stone crushing and screening and artificial sand crushing;
- Driving and pulling Larssen sheet piles using piling hammers or hydraulic pile drivers;
- Operating concrete mixing stations;
- Manually building construction works;
- Controlling concrete and concrete component rammers in the field of construction;
- Drilling and spraying concrete using portable air compressors in the field of construction; arc welding and gas welding in the field of construction;
- Performing crane rigging in the field of construction; driving bulldozers in the field of construction;
- Driving loaders or excavators with bucket capacity of at least 4m3 in the field of construction;
- Driving cranes of 20 tonnes or more in the field of construction;
- Repairing construction vehicles and machinery in construction works;
- Driving trucks of from 7 tonnes to under 20 tonnes in the field of construction.
* Transport:
- Delivering and receiving essential goods at ports;
- Driving shipyard transporters with a tonnage of 50 tonnes or more;
- Repairing electricity in shipyards;
- Operating CNC machines in shipyards;
* War invalids and social affairs:
- Performing as consultants for the national hotline for child protection;
- Performing as teachers directly intervening, teaching culture, occupations, advising on employment, functional rehabilitation, legal aid, trainers or doctors examining and classifying sports injuries and providing support for people with severe or extremely severe disabilities;
- Producing and assembling orthopedic products;
- Directly settling benefits and policies for wounded and sick soldiers and directly supporting meritorious persons performing as nurses at units.
