Action program on power control, anti-corruption in the process of law-making in Vietnam

The Government of Vietnam issues the Action Program of the Government of Vietnam to implement the Regulation 178-QD/TW on power control, prevention, and combat of corruption and negativity in the process of legal development with the following objectives and requirements:

- Objectives

+ Timely and thoroughly absorb and seriously, fully, and effectively implement the contents of Regulation 178-QD/TW to enhance awareness and responsibility among party committees, heads of agencies, party members, officials, and public employees involved in legal development.

+ Raise awareness among party committees, party organizations, agency leaders, and units regarding the importance of legal development; improve the sense of responsibility among party members and officials involved in legal development concerning power control, anti-corruption, and combating negativity.

+ Institutionalize promptly, correctly, and fully the policies and requirements for power control, anti-corruption, and combating negativity in legal development according to Regulation 178-QD/TW.

+ Link the deployment and implementation of tasks, programs, and work plans with the responsibilities of the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, Ministers, and Heads of equivalent agencies according to Regulation 178-QD/TW.

+ Strengthen discipline and order in executing power control, anti-corruption, and combating negativity in legal development.

- Requirements

+ Missions deployed must closely adhere to the contents of Regulation 178-QD/TW, related policies, and regulations of the Communist Party, ensuring they are practical, feasible, and effective.

+ Clearly identify the responsibilities of leading and coordinating agencies and organizations, including timelines and deadlines for completing assigned tasks according to this Action Program.

+ Clearly define the responsibilities of party committees, party organizations, heads of agencies, units, party members, officials, and public employees in executing power control, anti-corruption, and combating negativity in legal development. Regularly inspect, supervise, and urge the leadership, direction, and organization of implementing Regulation 178-QD/TW.
