Recently, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issued Directive 30/CT-TTg on tasks and solutions for the simultaneous implementation of planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
To ensure coherence, synchronization, continuity, stability, and systematic integration among plans within the national planning system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, in this Directive, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam has stipulated the following five main tasks:
- Organize concurrent formulation of plans for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 within the national planning system;- The National Planning Council advises and assists the Government of Vietnam and the Prime Minister in directing and addressing inter-sectoral, inter-regional, and inter-provincial issues, as well as differing opinions among Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and localities during the concurrent plan formulation process to ensure coherence, synchronization, continuity, stability, and systematic integration as stipulated in Resolution 751/2019/UBTVQH14;- Strengthen cooperation, information sharing, and policy reporting during the concurrent plan formulation process;- Develop a national information system and database on planning, ensuring uniform operation nationwide to serve planning activities;- Enhance the capacity of agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in planning activities.
