06 tasks to develop HCMC, Vietnam by 2030

Below is the content of Resolution 31-NQ/TW in 2022 on the direction and task of developing Ho Chi Minh City to 2030, with a vision to 2045 in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Resolution 31-NQ/TW, six tasks to develop HCMC, Vietnam by 2030 include the following:

- Prioritize rapid and sustainable economic development by innovating the growth model, restructuring the economy, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and international competitiveness, and mobilizing resources and efficient use of all resources.

- Enhance the quality of planning, management, and implementation; promote sustainable urban development and climate change adaptation; and encourage the construction of synchronous and modern infrastructure.

- Strongly develop culture, society, education, and training; take care of people's health; improve people's quality of life; build a civilized, modern, loving city worthy of the city named after President Ho Chi Minh.

- Ensure national defense and security; improve foreign policy and international integration.

- Strengthen and rectification of the party, as well as a clean and strong political system.

- Promulgate outstanding policies and laws in Vietnam, promote decentralization and decentralization, promote dynamism and creativity for the common benefit of city officials, and meet the requirements of the city's development in the new period.
