The documents included in the application for the promotion of the professional titles of legal aid assistants in Vietnam are regulated as follows:

- The documents included in the application for the promotion of the professional titles of legal aid assistants in Vietnam include:

+ Public employee's curriculum vitae as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 36 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP (amended according to the provisions at Point c, Clause 38, Article 1 of Decree 85/2023/ND-CP);

+ Appraisal and assessment of the head of the public service provider employing the public employee or the head of the competent authority managing the public service provider as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 36 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP (amended according to the provisions at Point c, Clause 38, Article 1 of Decree 85/2023/ND-CP) according to Form No. 01-TP-TGPL issued with Circular 09/2024/TT-BTP;

+ Document confirming the successful participation in legal proceedings as stipulated at Point d, Clause 2, Article 5 or Point d, Clause 2, Article 6 of Circular 05/2022/TT-BTP;

+ Copy of the recruitment decision, appointment decision to the position of professional titles of legal aid assistants in Vietnam;

+ Copies of diplomas and certificates as required:

In  the  case  of  promotion  to  the  title  of  Grade  I legal aid assistant,  as  regulated  in  Article  4  and  Point  e,  Clause  2,  Article  5  of  Circular  05/2022/TT-BTP; In the case of promotion to the title of Grade II legal assistance public employee, as regulated in Article 4 and Point e, Clause 2, Article 6 of Circular 05/2022/TT-BTP;

+ Copies of commendation decisions from competent authorities (if any).

- Agencies or units assigning public employees to apply for promotion to the professional titles of legal aid assistants in Vietnam must send the list of public employees meeting the standards and conditions for registering for promotion along with the required documents and materials as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 09/2024/TT-BTP to the competent authority organizing the promotion examination.
