The proportion of value of high-tech industrial products will reach 45% by 2030

Decision No 569/QD-TTg strategy for development of science and technology and innovation in industry.

By 2030, the proportion of value of high-tech industrial products in processing and manufacturing industries reaches at least 45%

Pursuant to the Decision No. 569/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2022 in order to achieve the general goals mentioned above mentioned in the Strategy for development of science and technology and innovation of Vietnam in industry as follows:

- Science and technology and innovation of Vietnam have played an important role in the development of key industries, focusing on manufacturing industry, contributing significantly to the restructuring of economy towards modernization, making Vietnam a country a country with modern industry by 2030.

- Actively and effectively participate in and take advantage of commercial advantages and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

- By 2030, the proportion of value of high-tech industrial products in manufacturing industry reaches at least 45%.

In order to achieve the above objectives, the industrial service should attach importance to the implementation of the following orientations.

Development and application of new materials technologies in industrial activities

In accordance with Decision No. 569/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2022, the orientation of development and application of new material technology in industrial activities is as follows:

- Transferring technologies, researching and manufacturing new and advanced materials for industrial and construction purposes such as functional materials with changing physical properties, advanced polymer and composite materials, advanced metal and alloy materials, protective coatings against harsh conditions, advanced technical ceramics, smart materials, new materials which can be absorbed or through with waves, 3D printed materials, chemicals and materials in service of mechanical engineering, supporting industry, petrochemistry and re-cycled materials in the construction of traffic works; advanced materials for agriculture such as fertilizers, biological protection drugs, smart packaging materials, glass materials, sensitive materials for buildings, glass materials, soil and artificial materials; decorating plastics, construction materials, like decaqueous materials, plant-carrying materials, biological materials, conductors capable of disposing plastic and super-resistant composite materials; materials and materials for use as electro-optical elements to serve industrial production and construction

- Conduct researches on the control of storage and metabolism technologies such as high-performance cells, high-performance fuel cells, hydro storage materials, photo-optic materials, thermal-power, thermal-thermal-power, wind power materials and biofuels.

Development and application of manufacturing-automation technologies in industrial activities

As per Decision No. 569/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2022, in order to achieve the targets specified in the Strategy for development of science and technology and innovation of Vietnam of industry, the orientation for development and application of automation technology in industrial activities is provided for as follows:

- To receive, master and develop advanced and smart manufacturing and automation technologies, including technologies for designing and manufacturing synchronous equipment and lines in petroleum, hydropower, thermal power, shipbuilding, mineral exploitation and processing; technologies for manufacturing energy-saving equipment systems; technologies for manufacturing sophisticated, large-scale and highly reliable systems; 3D printing, quick-track design and quick-track design technologies for use in the production of various industrial equipment, electric equipment, metal products and high-grade composites; technologies for automation, measurement and information processing, automatic control of production processes; technologies for manufacturing microchips and high-capacity transmission details for use in automation equipment; technologies for manufacturing auxiliary equipment in automation, automation technologies, robottles and automatic production chains.

- To study and manufacture some new syndicates with precision and high degree of integration and automation in defense and security.

As a result, in the Strategy for science and technology development and innovation of Vietnam by 2030, the Prime Minister has set specific goals and orientations for industrial development for early completion of general objectives for science and technology development and innovation.
