Vehicles serving National Funeral, State Funeral must be periodically inspected

This is the provision stipulated in Circular 166/2018/TT-BQP regulating the provision of vehicles for National Funeral and State-level Funeral ceremonies.

According to Circular 166, the inspection of vehicles serving funerals is conducted periodically or spontaneously depending on each specific case, as follows:

Periodic Inspections

- Weekly: The head (or assistant) of the Vehicle-Machine department of the Ceremonial Unit organizes an engine start inspection on the spot and a test drive within the unit.- Monthly: The technical unit commander of the Ceremonial Unit organizes an engine start inspection on the spot and a test drive outside the unit.- Quarterly: The commander of the Ceremonial Unit organizes an engine start inspection on the spot and a test drive outside the unit.

Spontaneous Inspections

- Conducted as requested by the commander of the Ceremonial Unit or higher authority.- The inspection content is carried out as requested by the head of the inspection team.

Note: After the inspection, the strengths and weaknesses must be evaluated, and the unit must be directed to overcome limitations and shortcomings.
