Responsibilities of Organizations Registering for Inspection of Food Safety for Export Plant Products

Circular 44/2018/TT-BNNPTNT has been issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding state inspection of food safety for plant-originated food products intended for export.

According to Circular 44, organizations and individuals registering for inspection must bear the following responsibilities:

- Provide complete and honest information and related documents;- Retain records and documents related to the origin and place of manufacture and supply of the product;- Perform traceability when requested by the competent authority.

Additionally, the responsibilities of the Inspection Authority are also detailed specifically in Circular 44:

- Receive, inspect the documents, and notify the inspection results to the registering organization or individual within the stipulated time;- Update information and documents provided by organizations and individuals;- Retain and be responsible for the inspection results.
