Responsibilities and Job Positions in the Pharmaceutical Testing Engineering Sector at College Level

Circular 40/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) stipulates the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in health and social services-related fields, effective from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the field of pharmaceutical testing technology issued along with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum level of autonomy and responsibility learners must achieve after graduating from the college level in pharmaceutical testing technology is as follows:

- Ability to work independently or organize group work;- Responsible for the results of their own work and the group's work before the leaders of agencies, organizations, and enterprises;- Ability to solve complex tasks and issues under changing working conditions;- Provide minimal guidance and supervise subordinates in performing specified tasks;- Evaluate the quality of products upon completion of the group's results.

Additionally, after graduation, learners possess the competency to meet requirements in job positions of the industry, including:

- Sample management for testing;- Testing (medicines, cosmetics, food);- Supervising production processes (GMP).

Note: The minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating in the field of pharmaceutical testing technology at the college level can be further developed at higher levels; after graduation, learners have the capability for self-study, self-updating scientific and technological advancements within the field to enhance their level or enroll in higher levels in the same field or related fields.
