On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 44/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduation at the intermediate level and college level for sectors and professions in the fields of computer science and information technology.
Regulation 03 requires associate degree in Database Management (Illustration Image)
Circular 44/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates that students majoring in Database Management at the associate level need to meet the following requirements:
1. Knowledge
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of computers, computer networks;- Present explanations for specialized Information Technology applications and products;- Explain principles and methods for analyzing, designing, operating, and supervising database systems;- Analyze and evaluate data safety and security levels;- Display basic knowledge on developing network applications;- Analyze and list basic incidents on network systems;- Determine the systematic approach and development environment of the system;- List the steps for system debugging of databases;- Identify the shift transfer procedure and record job logs;- Identify labor safety standards;- Present basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense, and physical education as stipulated.
2. Skills
- Utilize basic information technology as stipulated;- Identify the requirements of the database system;- Develop a plan for database system development;- Analyze the database system;- Skillfully design the database system;- Proficiently install database management software;- Accurately configure the database system;- Efficiently exploit the database system;- Manage database system safety;- Maintain the system;- Ensure database system security;- Upgrade the database system;- Build and debug database systems;- Integrate database systems;- Restore network systems and perform backup operations;- Recover data in case of network system failure to ensure system availability;- Maintain, repair, and upgrade network system software and hardware;- Develop simple applications on network systems;- Manage groups and supervise medium- and small-sized Information Technology systems;- Utilize basic information technology according to regulations; exploit, process, and apply Information Technology in professional sector tasks;- Use basic foreign language skills, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign language skills in professional sector tasks.
3. Degree of Autonomy and Responsibility
- Perform tasks with ethics, professional consciousness, citizen responsibility, proper professional motivation, respect for copyrights, intellectual property law in software application, diligence, and creativity in work, labor discipline, and adherence to agency and enterprise internal regulations;- Be creative in work and adapt to different working environments (domestic enterprises, foreign enterprises);- Comply with legal regulations and state policies;- Be accountable to leaders of agencies, organizations, and enterprises for personal and group work results;- Resolve complex tasks and issues in changing working conditions;- Provide minimum guidance and supervise subordinates in specified tasks;- Evaluate the quality of products after completion based on the performance results of group members.
