Regime for CBCC Participating in the Reserve Military Forces

Officials outside of the military currently working in State agencies and units, upon receiving the General Mobilization Order to participate in the reserve mobilization force (also known as reserve military personnel), are entitled to the following policies during training, exercises, readiness checks, and combat mobilization:

Provision of Meals:

During the period of concentration, meal expenses are covered in accordance with the current policies for enlisted soldiers from the date of arrival at the concentration location until the end of the concentration period.

Salary and Allowances:

The agency or unit where the individual is working will pay the full salary and all allowances, subsidies, welfare, per diem, and travel expenses according to the current policies for workers and public employees on business trips.

Military Equipment and Personal Items:

Reserve soldiers called for concentration for 5 days or more in one period are allowed to borrow military equipment and some personal items as prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense.

In Case of Illness, Injury, or Death:

For reserve soldiers participating in social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT): During the concentration period, if they fall ill, get injured, or die, they are entitled to benefits for illness, injury, or death paid by social insurance and health insurance.

For reserve soldiers not participating in BHXH, BHYT:

- Illness:- During the concentration period, if a reserve soldier falls ill and needs to be hospitalized, they are treated at the nearest military or civilian hospital. During treatment, reserve soldiers are entitled to medical examination and treatment policies like regular soldiers, with meal expenses covered and allowances provided.- If the illness is not stable by the end of the concentration period and requires further treatment, the military unit will support part of the meal and medication costs each day, calculated at a coefficient of 0.08 of the minimum wage for the actual number of days needing treatment, up to a maximum of 15 days.- Injury during training or accidental incidents:- Reserve soldiers are treated at military or civilian hospitals until the wound heals. During treatment, reserve soldiers enjoy the same medical examination, treatment policies, meal coverage, and allowances as those for ill reserve soldiers during concentration.- If the injury results in a disability, the military unit will coordinate with the District Military Command to complete procedures for assessing work injury benefits.- Death:- If a reserve soldier dies during the concentration period, funeral expenses will be provided, equivalent to 8 months of the minimum wage as prescribed by the Government of Vietnam.- The military unit will cooperate with the family and local authorities where the reserve soldier resides to organize the funeral in accordance with current regulations for enlisted soldiers, with funeral expenses covered by the national defense budget.

Commendation:

Reserve soldiers with outstanding achievements will be considered for commendation according to current regulations, and these achievements will be added to the merit records at their base units.

Other Benefits:

During the concentration period, if a reserve soldier is injured or dies and meets the conditions stipulated in legal documents on preferential treatment for those who have contributed to the revolution, they will be recognized as a wounded soldier, a person enjoying policies like a wounded soldier, or a martyr. They and their families are entitled to preferential policies of the State according to current regulations.
