Position, Functions, and Organization of the Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Training

in Article 8 of Decree 42/2013/ND-CP, the position, function, and organization of the Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Training are stipulated as follows:

Regarding the position and function:

- The Inspectorate of the Department is a body of the Department of Education and Training, assisting the Director of the Department of Education and Training (hereinafter referred to as the Director of the Department) in conducting administrative inspection and specialized education inspection; resolving complaints, denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption according to the provisions of the law. The Inspectorate of the Department has its own seal and account.

Regarding the organization:

- The Inspectorate of the Department consists of a Chief Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspectors, Inspectors, and other officials.- The Chief Inspector of the Department of Education and Training (hereinafter referred to as the Chief Inspector of the Department) is appointed, dismissed, or relieved of duty by the Director of the Department after reaching consensus with the Chief Inspector of the province.- The Deputy Chief Inspectors of the Department are appointed, dismissed, or relieved of duty by the Director of the Department upon the recommendation of the Chief Inspector of the Department.- The Inspectorate of the Department is under the direction and administration of the Director of the Department; it is directed in terms of inspection work and guided on administrative inspection expertise by the provincial Inspectorate, and on specialized education inspection by the Ministry Inspectorate.
