To be specific, not having infectious diseases is one of the requirements for milkers and milk collectors stipulated in Circular 13. The full text of the requirements is as follows:
- Must be trained and issued with a certificate of food safety knowledge by a competent authority as per current regulations.- Must undergo a health check, not have any diseases on the list of infectious diseases, and be issued a Health Certificate before practicing the profession, with periodic health re-examinations according to the Ministry of Health's regulations.- Must wear complete labor protection gear such as protective clothing, hair cap, mask, and boots while working; must wash and disinfect hands before and after direct contact with a teat.- Must comply with personal hygiene practices: regularly keep nails short and clean; do not wear jewelry such as rings and watches during work; do not smoke or spit in the milking and milk collecting area.
