The insignia of the Healthcare Inspectorate in Vietnam must comply with the regulations stipulated in Article 6 of Circular 39/2015/TT-BYT:

The insignia of the Healthcare Inspectorate is round, with two concentric circles, featuring a yellow block in the center, a sword hilt pointing upwards, and two snakes entwined on either side. Below the sword hilt and the two snakes, the inscription “THANH TRA Y TE” (Health Inspection) in white is printed on a red shield symbol viewed vertically, along with a symbol of an open book on both sides. Above it is the inscription “Ministry of Health” or “Department of Health” in yellow, surrounded by two yellow rice ears on a green circular background. The entire iconographic block is made of stainless metal, embossed with circles, wording, and specialized health inspection symbols.

- Insignia attached to Kepi hat: The insignia attached to the Kepi hat has a diameter of 35 mm, attached together with 2 golden pine branches on either side.

- Insignia attached to lapel: The lapel tag is made from dark gray synthetic fiber fabric (the lapel tag for leaders of the General Department and Departments under the Ministry of Health is made of felt), in the shape of a parallelogram with sides measuring 55 mm x 35 mm, with an 18 mm diameter insignia attached in the center.

- Insignia attached to shoulder: Embroidered with dark gray synthetic fiber fabric, in the shape of a shield with a width of 70 mm and a height of 90 mm. In the center, the Health Inspection insignia with a diameter of 35 mm is embroidered. The shield is bordered with a 1.5 mm wide yellow woolen rim.

The insignia attached to the hat and lapel tag must have screws or pins to ensure they are securely attached to the hat and lapel; the insignia attached to the shoulder must be sewn directly onto the uniform. The lines on the insignia must be clear, and the text must be distinct and properly accented.

The insignia model of the Healthcare Inspectorate is prescribed in Appendix I issued along with Circular 39/2015/TT-BYT.
