Circular 44: Skill requirements for graphic design at intermediate level (Illustration)

Circular 44/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates that learners, after graduating with an intermediate level in the field of Graphic Design, need to achieve the following skills:

- Ability to use basic information technology as prescribed;- Ability to perform the connection and control of computers, peripheral devices, and computer networks;- Ability to analyze, organize, and execute the correct cleaning procedures for equipment as well as skills in using equipment for occupational safety, ensuring safety at work;- Ability to install control programs for digital peripheral devices and operate, manipulate, and maintain digital peripheral devices;- Ability to install and use software in graphic design such as 2D design software, film, game software, photo, and graphic processing software, audio, and video processing software, etc.;- Ability to exploit the Internet, search for documents in Vietnamese or English to meet job requirements;- Ability to design and complete graphic products such as advertisements on billboards, websites, or social networks, on television, brand identity design, book covers, page layout, book, newspaper, magazine content presentation, and propaganda posters;- Ability to edit and process images, videos, audio, operate cameras, take photos, process still and animated images; design game graphics, animations;- Ability to design Website interfaces and use graphic knowledge to design Marketing Banners on the internet, and advertise on social networks;- Ability to integrate multimedia data; collect data including images, animations, videos, and audio;- Ability to create and use graphics, graphic layers; create specialized publications for internal use and create publications for advertising purposes;- Ability to process images according to practical demand, restore old photos, etc.;- Ability to create publications for various fields such as product labeling, logo creation, business card design, or advertising;- Ability to perform services related to graphic design, fine arts, book layout, creating promotional pictures, services related to digital video, digital photography;- Ability to use basic foreign languages, achieving level 1/6 in Vietnam's Language Proficiency Framework; and apply foreign languages in some professional tasks of the field; read and understand specialized English documents.
