According to the regulations on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that students need to achieve after graduating from the vocational secondary and college-level auto assembly program, issued in conjunction with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the college-level auto assembly program is a profession where the practitioner uses machinery and equipment to assemble a complete car from imported (CKD) and localized materials and components. The auto assembly process is conducted on automotive assembly technology lines that meet technical, safety, and environmental protection standards, and meet the level 5 requirements in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
Practitioners work on continuous, high-intensity assembly lines. This demands that an assembly worker must have good health, be able to handle significant work pressure, and especially need to be well-trained to proficiently perform tasks to complete on schedule. To ensure user safety, it requires that the practitioner guarantees accuracy in every detail, with carefulness, discipline, and a high sense of responsibility.
The working environment in vehicle assembly enterprises involves the collaboration of foreign experts, thus requiring the practitioner to be able to communicate in English with these experts.
Note that the minimum amount of knowledge is 2,025 hours (equivalent to 72 credits).
After graduation, students have the competency to meet the requirements of job positions in the industry, which include:
- Module Assembly;- Chassis Assembly;- Interior Assembly;- Final Assembly.
