Adding Cases for Adjusting and Supplementing Identity Card Information in Archives

This is the regulation mentioned in Circular 39/2019/TT-BCA amending and supplementing some articles of Circular 10/2016/TT-BCA dated March 03, 2016, by the Minister of Public Security, stipulating the work on the citizens' identity archives.

Pursuant to Clause 4, Article 1 of Circular 39/2019/TT-BCA stipulating amendments and supplements to Clause 2, Article 11 of Circular 10/2016/TT-BCA regulating the adjustment and supplementation of information on citizen identification in the citizen identification archive in the following cases:

- Citizens changing or reissuing their Citizen Identification Card or People's Identity Card.- Citizens changing their place of permanent residence or in cases of changes in administrative boundaries, streets, and house numbers.- Citizens changing information about their surname, middle name, given name; date, month, year of birth; distinctive features; gender reassignment; place of birth.- Citizens who die, are declared missing or are declared dead or missing by the Court according to legal provisions.- Citizens emigrating abroad for permanent residence, Vietnamese citizens residing abroad returning to Vietnam for permanent residence.- Citizens regaining Vietnamese nationality, being deprived of Vietnamese nationality, renouncing Vietnamese nationality, or having their decision on the acquisition of Vietnamese nationality annulled according to the Law on Nationality.- Other cases according to legal provisions and those of the Ministry of Public Security.

Thus, Circular 39/2019/TT-BCA supplements the case where citizens change administrative boundaries, streets, and house numbers, requiring adjustment and supplementation of information in the citizen identification archive.
