On November 13, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training approved Decision 3814/QD-BGDDT on program to improve professional capacity and skills in organizing sports activities for managers and physical education teachers in primary education establishments in Vietnam.

The training program is applied to administrators and physical education teachers in primary education establishments in Vietnam.

1. Objectives of the program

- The general objective is to equip managers and physical education teachers in primary education establishments with knowledge, skills, expertise, construction skills, and organizing skills for sports activities in schools, meeting the need for innovation and contributing to improving the quality of physical education and sports activities in primary education establishments.

- Detailed objectives

+ Improve the capacity to effectively exploit and apply the system of legal documents in the fields of physical education and school sports for management staff and physical education teachers in primary education establishments.

+ Have skills in planning and organizing sports activities suitable to practical conditions in elementary education establishments.

+ Have knowledge and skills to ensure safety in sports training and competition; Combine proper nutrition with physical activity.

+ Have skills in applying information and communication technology and mobilizing resources to organize sports activities.

2. Content of the program to foster professional capacity for managers and teachers working in physical education at primary education establishments

- Amount of knowledge and duration of training

+ Total: 04 topics

+ Duration of 75 periods includes: theory (research, exchange, focused discussion, self-study of documents); practice (practical survey, practice of thematic exercises, case practice); and performing assessment tests according to program regulations.
