Vietnam: List of goods serving currency printing and minting operations

On February 07, 2017, the State Bank of Vietnam issued Circular No. 01/2017/TT-NHNN on the list of imported machines, equipment, materials, components and parts serving currency printing and minting operations.

The list attached to Circular No. 01/2017/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam includes 16 16 types of goods. To be specific:

- Materials serving currency printing and minting operations include;

+ Currency printing paper;

+ Currency printing ink;

+ Anti-counterfeiting foil;

+ Currency plate.

- Machines, equipment, components and parts serving currency printing and minting include:

+ Currency printing machines;

+ Anti-counterfeiting foil stamping machines;

+ Finishing machines and equipment;

+ Cylinder-related machines;

+ Plate-related machines and equipment;

+ Plate finishing machines;

+ Finishing machines of offset, poly schablon, flexo and screen printing;

+ Computer-to-plate systems;

+ Printing ink making machines;

+ Numerota for printing serial number;

+ Cleaning solution mixing systems;

+ Wastewater treatment.
