Vietnam: Amending fees for appraisal in the medical sector from April 06, 2020

Recently, the Minister of Health of Vietnam issued Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BTC amending a number of Articles of Circular No. 278/2016/TT-BTC providing for fees in the medical sector and collection, transfer, management and use thereof.

Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam amends a number of fees in the medical sector, specifically as follows:

- Fee for appraisal of applications for license to test insecticides and disinfectants for household and medical use is VND 3,500,000/application (VND 2,000,000 currently);

- Fee for appraisal of applications for new certificates for insecticide and disinfectant registration for household and medical use is VND 11,000,000/application (VND 8,000,000 currently);

- Fee for approval of advertising contents for insecticides and disinfectants for household and medical use is VND 600,000/application (VND 1,000,000 currently);

- Fee for appraisal of applications for additional registration for the following cases: change of name or address of manufacturer/applicant; change of holder of registration certificate; etc. is VND 2,500,000/time (VND 1,000,000 - VND 2,000,000 currently);

- etc.
