The Minister of Home Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 10/2022/TT-BNV prescribing document retention periods.
According to Vietnam's Circular 10/2022/TT-BNV, the retention periods of document related to land in Vietnam are prescribed as follows:
- Dossiers on approval of plans for allocation and zoning of land according to functional areas and by type of land to each district-level administrative unit - Permanently;
- Dossier on regulations on land allocation quotas, recognition of residential land, recognition of land use rights; minimum area to be divided - Permanently;
- Dossier on land allocation, land lease, land recovery, transfer of land use rights, change of land use purpose, issuance of certificates of land use rights, rights to use houses and other assets attached to land, land requisition - Permanently;
- Dossier on approval of compensation and resettlement support plan - Permanently;
- Dossiers on deciding specific land prices for calculating land use levy, land rent, calculating land use right value upon equitization of state-owned enterprises, calculating land compensation - 20 years.
