On January 24, 2025, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court issued Decision 18/QD-TANDTC regarding the 2025 Plan for Asset and Income Verification.

Those to be verified include:

* Agencies and units to be verified in 2025

Based on the Anti-Corruption Law and Clause 2, Article 15 of Decree 130/2020/ND-CP, in 2025, the Asset and Income Control Agency of the Supreme People's Court will verify the assets and income of those who are required to declare at three agencies and units within the People's Court:

- The People's Court of two levels in Ha Giang Province;

- The People's Court of two levels in Quang Nam Province;

- The People's Court of two levels in Hau Giang Province.

* Individuals to be verified

- Individuals required to declare assets and income as stipulated in Article 10 of Decree 130/2020/ND-CP.

- In each agency and unit to be verified, select at least 10% of individuals required to declare assets and income annually. The specific number of individuals at each agency, unit, is attached in the annex to this Plan.

- Total number of individuals to be verified: 37.

* Criteria and method for selecting individuals to be verified

** Selection Criteria

- Individuals selected for asset and income verification must meet the following criteria:

+ Required to declare assets and income annually;

+ Have not been previously verified for assets and income in the past four consecutive years.

- Excluded from selection for asset and income verification are individuals:

+ Under investigation, prosecution, or trial;

+ Undergoing treatment for a serious illness as confirmed by a competent medical authority;

+ Studying or working abroad for 12 months or more.

** Selection Method

- The Asset and Income Control Agency selects individuals randomly through a lottery method to determine those to be verified at each agency, unit.

- During the selection of individuals to be verified, the Asset and Income Control Agency invites representatives from the Communist Party's Inspection Committee of the Supreme People's Court to attend and witness.

- The selection of individuals to be verified is documented in a formal record.

* Verification procedure

- The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court issues a Decision on verification and establishes the Asset and Income Verification Team in accordance with Article 45 of the Anti-Corruption Law.

- The organization and operation of the Asset and Income Verification Team are conducted under the provisions of Article 46 of the Anti-Corruption Law.

- The Asset and Income Verification Team conducts verification of the assets and income of those selected for verification.

- Upon conclusion of verification at each unit, the Team Leader of the Asset and Income Verification Team reports the results and drafts the Verification Conclusion, presenting it to the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for issuance.

- The disclosure of the Asset and Income Verification Conclusion is conducted similarly to the disclosure of asset and income declarations as prescribed in Article 39 of the Anti-Corruption Law.
