The General Department of Customs has recently issued Official Dispatch 5975/TCHQ-GSQL providing guidance on the procedure for submitting supplementary C/O (excluding C/O form VK, KV, and EAV) when the original C/O is not available at the time of customs clearance as follows:

- For electronic customs declarations: The customs declarant shall declare additional information on the AMA declaration through the System;- For paper customs declarations: The customs declarant shall declare additional information according to Form No. 03/KBS/GSQL Appendix V attached to Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC.

Submission deadline: Within 30 days from the date of registration of the declaration.

As directed by the General Department of Customs, the Customs Departments of provinces and cities must publicly post Official Dispatch 5975 at customs procedure locations.
