Issuance of the National technical regulation on Electromagnetic compatibility for Private land mobile radio and Terrestrial Trunked Radio in Vietnam

Issued together with Circular 13/2024/TT-BTTTT, the National Technical Regulation on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) for Private land mobile radio and Terrestrial Trunked Radio in Vietnam (QCVN 100:2024/BTTTT).

This standard stipulates the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility for terrestrial mobile radio equipment using digital and analogue technologies; terrestrial trunked radio equipment and associated auxiliary equipment.

Technical criteria related to the antenna port and emissions from the case port of terrestrial mobile radio and terrestrial trunked radio equipment are not within the scope of this standard, and shall be specified in corresponding product standards for the effective use of the radio frequency spectrum.

This standard stipulates test conditions, quality evaluation criteria, and quality criteria regarding electromagnetic compatibility for terrestrial mobile radio equipment, terrestrial trunked radio equipment, and associated auxiliary equipment.

Examples of terrestrial mobile radio equipment and terrestrial trunked radio equipment are listed in Appendix A. HS codes for equipment within the scope of this standard are specified in Appendix B.

In case there is a discrepancy (e.g., related to special conditions, definitions, abbreviations) between this standard and QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT, this standard shall apply.

The stipulation on environment and requirements on emissions and immunity in this standard are referenced from QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT, except for the specific conditions specified in this standard.

More details can be found in Circular 13/2024/TT-BTTTT which comes into force in Vietnam from January 1, 2025.
