The Ministry of National Defense has just issued Circular 106/2019/TT-BQP providing guidance on adjusting monthly allowances for servicemen, cipher staff receiving salaries similar to servicemen who have been demobilized, discharged, or resigned.

The monthly allowance for soldiers, cipher officers who receive salaries similar to those of soldiers who have been discharged, retired, or resigned is adjusted to increase by 7.19% based on the monthly allowance of June 2019. The monthly allowance effective from July 1, 2019, is specified as follows:

• From 15 years to under 16 years, allowance: 1,891,000 VND/month;

• From 16 years to under 17 years, allowance: 1,977,000 VND/month;

• From 17 years to under 18 years, allowance: 2,064,000 VND/month;

• From 18 years to under 19 years, allowance: 2,150,000 VND/month;

• From 19 years to under 20 years, allowance: 2,235,000 VND/month.
