Hanoi, Vietnam: Value of gifts for the 77th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day on July 27, 2024

On June 25, 2024, the President of Vietnam issued Decision 590/QD-CTN on gifts for the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).

Value of gifts for the 77th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day in Vietnam on July 27, 2024

Gifts will be given to those who contributed to the revolution on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day in Vietnam (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024) as follows:

(1) Gift value of 600,000 VND:

* Revolution contributors:

  • Heroic Vietnamese Mothers who are receiving monthly preferential allowances and individuals who have been awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother before July 28, 2024, but have not yet completed the procedures to receive monthly preferential allowances.

  • War invalids, individuals with policies similar to war invalids, category B invalids, and sick soldiers with body injury rates of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

  • Individuals who participated in the resistance and were exposed to toxic chemical substances suffering body injury rates of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

* Relatives of martyrs who are receiving monthly nurturing subsidies; relatives of two or more martyrs who are receiving monthly pension benefits.

(2) Gift value of 300,000 VND:

* Revolution contributors:

  • War invalids, individuals with policies similar to war invalids, category B invalids, and sick soldiers with body injury rates of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances. War invalids who are receiving loss-of-working-capacity benefits.

  • Individuals who participated in the resistance and were exposed to toxic chemical substances suffering body injury rates of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

* Representatives of martyr relatives.

* Individuals who worship martyrs (in cases where martyrs have no remaining relatives).
