On August 14, 2020, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 78/2020/TT-BTC on guiding accounting for civil judgment enforcement.
At Clause 5, Article 12 of Circular 78/2020/TT-BTC, regulations on the time frame for drafting financial statements and reports on civil judgment enforcement activities are as follows:
- For reports on civil judgment enforcement activities: Units shall draft on a quarterly and yearly basis (September 30 each year) or as per the management requirements of the competent authority.- For financial statements:- Units must prepare financial statements at the end of the fiscal year (September 30) as regulated, and submit them to the superior authorities along with the reports on civil judgment enforcement activities;- Additionally, they must also prepare financial statements on December 31 each year to submit to the estimate-allocating unit for the consolidation of the general financial statements of the judgment enforcement authorities at all levels and submit these to the direct superior unit.
Note: Categories, report formats, recipients, submission deadlines, explanations of contents, and methods of drafting reports shall be executed in accordance with Appendix 04 “Reporting System” attached to this Circular.
