The Central Executive Committee has just issued Regulation 208-QD/TW on the functions, tasks, and organization of the political centers at the district level.
District-level political centers (formerly district, town, and provincial city political training centers) will have the following two additional tasks:
- Propagating and educating about the history of the Communist Party and the local party committee history;- Participating in coordinating practical summaries, theoretical research, and scientific research as required by the party committee and serving teaching and learning.
Additionally, district-level political centers will continue to perform existing tasks according to Decision 185-QD/TW, including:
- Training in primary-level political-administrative theory; training in political theory programs for regulated subjects;- Training and updating new knowledge on professional and operational work in Party building;- Political training for party development subjects, political theory for new party members;- Organizing information on current affairs, policies, etc., for the team of reporters and propagandists at the grassroots level.
