Accounting Exchange Rate for Foreign Currency in August: USD increases by 23 VND

The State Treasury has just issued Notice 3623/TB-KBNN on the accounting exchange rate for foreign currencies in August 2017, applied uniformly nationwide.

The accounting exchange rates between the Vietnamese Dong and foreign currencies for August 2017 are as follows:

- 1 USD (American Dollar) = 22,438 VND (an increase of 23 VND compared to July 2017);- 1 EURO (European Common Currency) = 26,345 VND (an increase of 713 VND);- 1 GBP (British Pound) = 29,466 VND (an increase of 279 VND);- 1 AUD (Australian Dollar) = 17,917 VND (an increase of 648 VND);- 1 SGD (Singapore Dollar) = 16,546 VND (an increase of 276 VND).

In general, the accounting exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the aforementioned foreign currencies has increased.

Financial institutions, the State Treasury, and budget-funded entities shall base their accounting and foreign currency expenditure reporting on these exchange rates according to regulated policies.
