12 administrative procedures for appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam has issued thehref='https://lawnet.vn/vb/Quyet-dinh-1067-QD-BNV-2020-cong-bo-thu-tuc-hanh-chinh-quy-dinh-tai-Nghi-dinh-120-2020-ND-CP-70190.html'> Decision No. 1067/QĐ-BNV on the publication of administrative procedures regulated in the Decree No. 120/2020NĐ-CP on the appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units under the State management function of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Issued with the Decision No. 1067/QĐ-BNV are 12 administrative procedures on appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units in accordance with the Decree No. 120/2020NĐ-CP dated October 07, 2020 of Vietnam’s Government under the State management function of the Ministry of Home Affairs (details at the attached Appendix). To be specific:

- Central administrative procedures:

+ Procedures for appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units falling under the decision-making competence of the Government or the Prime Minister;

+ Procedures for appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units falling under the decision-making competence of ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, and organizations run by the Government or Prime Minister, but not a public non-business unit.

- Local administrative procedures:

+ Procedures for appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of organizations falling under the decision-making competence of the provincial-level People's Committees;

+ Procedures for appraisal of the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units falling under the decision-making competence of the district-level People's Committees.
