02 New Forms on Importation and Phytosanitary Registration

Circular 30/2017/TT-BNNPTNT is issued to amend and supplement a number of articles of Circular 33/2014/TT-BNNPTNT and amend Clause 3, Article 2 of Circular 18/2016/TT-BNNPTNT.

Circular 30 introduces some noteworthy new points as follows:

- Issuing along with it are 02 appendices Ia and IIa for the registration dossier of plant quarantine for imports and the procedures for issuing plant quarantine certificates;- Amendment of the concept of “Project Owner” in Circular 18/2016/TT-BNNPTNT. Accordingly, the project owner is an agency or unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, assigned by the Ministry to manage the projects.

The forms Ia, IIa are regulated to be applied in the procedures for registration of plant quarantine and food safety inspection for consignments subject to plant quarantine imported for food use.

Circular 30/2017/TT-BNNPTNT takes effect from February 12, 2018.
