Sources of the National database on construction in Vietnam from November 1, 2024

To be specific, the National Database on construction is a database covering construction within the territory of Vietnam, organized and managed electronically to facilitate access, exploitation, sharing, management, maintenance, and updates, meeting the information access and usage needs of various economic sectors and the public interest.

The National Database on construction includes data on construction planning; data on construction investment projects and construction works; data on construction norms, construction work prices, and construction price indices, as well as other activities related to construction investment.

The information in the National Database on construction in Vietnam stipulated in Decree 111/2024/ND-CP is collected from the following sources:

- Results of administrative procedures and operations conducted by competent state agencies;

- Information and data shared and linked from the National Database on Population, the National Database on Business Registration, and other related databases;

- Information and data synchronized from specialized data sources of competent agencies and other relevant data sources;

- Information and data on construction investment projects and construction works updated by the project owner as stipulated in Decree 111/2024/ND-CP.

For databases referencing master data stipulated in Clause 4, Article 6 and Clause 5, Article 7 of Decree 111/2024/ND-CP, they must be updated and adjusted per the master data in the National Database on construction, ensuring consistency across all databases managed by state agencies.

More details can be found in Decree 111/2024/ND-CP, which comes into force in Vietnam from November 1, 2024.
