Hanoi: Which entities are required to send periodic reports under the state management scope of the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training?

Recently, the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating the policies for periodic reporting under the state management scope of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Hanoi: Which entities are required to send periodic reports under the state management scope of the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training?  (Illustrative image)

Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT regulates the entities required to send periodic reports under the state management scope of the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training as follows:

- State administrative agencies: Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam; People's Committees of provinces and municipalities (hereinafter collectively referred to as Provincial People's Committees); People's Committees of districts, townships, provincial cities, and municipal cities (hereinafter collectively referred to as District People's Committees); People's Committees of communes, wards, and towns (hereinafter collectively referred to as Commune People's Committees); Departments of Education and Training under the Provincial People's Committees, Departments of Education, Science, and Technology of Bac Lieu (hereinafter collectively referred to as Departments of Education and Training); Divisions of Education and Training under the District People's Committees (hereinafter collectively referred to as Divisions of Education and Training).

- Organizations and individuals: Parent universities, academies, universities (hereinafter collectively referred to as higher education institutions); pedagogical colleges; pedagogical secondary schools; public service providers serving the state management function of the Ministry and public service providers under the Ministry (hereinafter collectively referred to as attached public service providers); Foreign language centers established by the decision of the Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee or the Director of the Department of Education and Training (if authorized by the Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee) (hereinafter collectively referred to as Provincial Foreign Language Centers); Education Quality Accreditation Centers; other related organizations and individuals.

Note: The Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training receives reports at the address: No. 35, Dai Co Viet Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City.
