Hanoi requests citizens to continue wearing masks in public places
Implementing the conclusion directives of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, in Notice 219/TB-VPCP and Notice 238/TB-VPCP, the Hanoi People's Committee requests the City's Departments, agencies, and district-level People's Committees to continue implementing proactive measures for disease prevention and control, the first of which includes being ready for contact tracing, rapid testing, hand washing, and wearing masks in densely populated public places.
Districts, sectors, and functional forces are to continue carrying out the epidemic prevention and control strategy as previously outlined, maintaining the significant achievements in disease prevention and control attained over the past period; continuing to uphold vigilance, avoiding mistakes, shortcomings, and negligence in epidemic prevention and control; and absolutely preventing the occurrence of a second wave of infection in Hanoi.
The City's media agencies, newspapers, and radio stations are to continue disseminating information about epidemic prevention and control measures to reassure the public; districts and district-level towns are to persist with epidemic control measures, limiting the spread of the disease, and ensuring that citizens do not become complacent or negligent.
