Which Title is Eligible for a Car Expense Allowance?

Decree 04/2019/ND-CP has been signed and promulgated by the Government of Vietnam, stipulating the standards and norms for the use of automobiles. This document replaces Decision 32/2015/QD-TTg.

According to the new regulations, the subjects implementing the funding for the use of cars are stipulated in Decree 04 as follows:

- Positions in agencies, organizations, units specified in Clause 4 Article 9, Clause 3 Article 10, Clause 3 Article 11, Clause 3 Article 12, and Clause 3 Article 13 of Decree 04;- Positions determined to use cars with funding according to Clause 2 Article 7 of Decree 04;- Positions stipulated in Clause 1, Clause 2 Article 8 of Decree 04 applying the funding for the use of cars according to the decision of the competent authority regarding:

- The application of funding for the use of cars for the positions specified in Clause 1 and the case specified in Clause 2 Article 8 of Decree 04.- The forms and steps for implementing the funding for the use of cars for various positions.- The unit price for the use of cars, the funding for the use of cars applicable to each position or group of positions suitable for different periods.
