Use of Signs and Title Boards in the People's Public Security Forces

On September 12, 2017, the Ministry of Public Security issued Circular 30/2017/TT-BCA specifying the use of nameplates, title plates, duty shift bands, and discipline inspection bands in the People's Public Security.

Circular 30 stipulates the signage used for the headquarters of the Police of units and localities for shared use rooms (halls, meeting rooms, classrooms, warehouses...), working rooms of the unit, and working rooms of the leadership and commanders of the Police at all levels.

Position signs are used to place on the desks of leaders and commanders from the Platoon level, Team level, and equivalent positions and above in the People's Police who share a working room; placed on the table right in front of the position where the delegates sit in conferences, seminars, competitions, training sessions, etc.

Command duty signs, duty station signs, and citizen reception duty signs are used to be placed on the table where the Police officers perform the duties of command duty, station duty, and citizen reception duty.

Duty ribbons, and People's Police order inspection ribbons are used when officers and non-commissioned officers in the People's Police (hereinafter collectively referred to as People's Police officers and soldiers) perform duties of duty station, and People's Police order inspection.
