Types of Rewards in the Transportation Sector

Here is one of the basic contents stipulated in Circular 13/2018/TT-BGTVT issued on March 29, 2018. So, what specific types of commendations are there?

According to Article 11 of Circular 13/2018/TT-BGTVT, the forms of commendation in the transportation sector include:

1. Commendation based on merit and achievements is a form of commendation for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements or who have excellently fulfilled their assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The level of task completion for collectives and individuals is considered, evaluated, and recognized based on regulations by the authority recommending the commendation.

2. Periodic (or special) commendation is awarded to collectives and individuals who achieve outstanding results upon the conclusion of a competition period initiated by the President, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Transport, or the heads of agencies, organizations, and units under the Ministry.

3. Unexpected commendation is awarded to collectives and individuals who achieve unexpected or particularly outstanding accomplishments.

Unexpected achievements are those accomplished outside the program, plan, or tasks assigned to the collectives or individuals.

Particularly outstanding unexpected achievements are those reached at an exceptional level when bravely rescuing people or the assets of the people and the state, in combat or service of combat, or achieving particularly outstanding achievements recognized regionally or globally.

4. Commendation for lifelong contributions is awarded to individuals who have participated in activities during revolutionary periods, held leadership or managerial positions in state agencies, public service providers, political organizations, political-social organizations, and have had meritorious services, outstanding achievements, and contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Communist Party and the nation.

5. Foreign-related commendation is given to individuals, foreign agencies, organizations, and international organizations in Vietnam; collectives and individuals outside the transportation sector who have made significant contributions to the development of Vietnam's transportation sector.
