- The air exchange rate shall not be less than 3 times/hour.- The volume of air exchange shall not be less than 30 m^3^/h, and during peak hours, it shall not be less than 50 m^3^/h per passenger.- The air movement speed shall not exceed:- In the main tunnel: 15 m/s;- In vertical or horizontal shafts: 8 m/s;- Through the ventilation windows: 5 m/s;- In the passenger area: from 0.5 m/s to 2 m/s.- The carbon dioxide content in passenger concentration areas shall not exceed 0.1% by volume.

Also according to Circular 11/2018/TT-BXD, the ventilation and air conditioning system must ensure air quality according to QCVN 05:2013/BTNMT and QCVN 06:2009/BTNMT.
