On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) issued Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate or college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary science.

As stipulated in the regulations on the minimum amount of knowledge and required competencies for learners upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the forestry sector issued along with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the forestry sector at the college level encompasses all activities related to forest management, protection, development, and utilization; processing and trading of forestry products, meeting level 5 requirements in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
Graduates can work at: state management agencies, administrative career institutions in forestry; research and technology transfer agencies related to agro-forestry; agencies related to urban forestry; forestry businesses, projects; agro-forestry farms, other related organizations, and self-employment in the field studied.
Note the minimum amount of knowledge is 1800 hours (equivalent to 65 credits).
Furthermore, after graduation, learners have the competencies to meet the job requirements in the sector, including:
- Forest management;- Forest protection;- Forest development;- Forest utilization;- Processing of forestry products;- Trading of forestry products;- Urban forestry.
