Skills Required Upon Graduation from the Intermediate Forestry Program

On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) issued Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation from intermediate or college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary science.

In accordance with the regulations on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the forestry sector issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level in the forestry sector are as follows:

- Propagate and disseminate general knowledge about policies and laws related to forestry;

- Implement the production of plant seeds, afforestation, and forest exploitation;

- Carry out the production steps of plant seeds, planting, caring, managing, exploiting, protecting, and developing forests;

- Proficiently use equipment and tools for afforestation design and forest exploitation;

- Read design documents for planting and exploitation; and effectively carry out planting and forest exploitation work;

- Implement the procedure for forest exploitation;

- Provide consulting and agricultural and forestry services;

- Implement the agricultural and forestry production business model;

- Use basic information technology as prescribed; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional work of the sector;

- Use basic foreign language skills, achieving level 1/6 in the Vietnamese language proficiency framework; and apply foreign language skills in professional work of the sector.
